My Artist's Journey

Hello, everyone.

I am at the point now where I am learning that my musical art is simply a diary entry in my week or day. Obviously, you can’t like or dislike a diary entry. It simply is. It is not something that you can charge money for or seek acceptance for. Do I like the song? That is the entire thing. If you resonate with any one of my songs, I am happy to have connected with you over our shared experience of somehow liking it or possibly even being moved by it.

The music you are hearing from me is the sum of my 62 years of shed blood, tears, forgiveness, and growing wisdom. I will never write music that aims to please. I can only please myself. And I will not be putting my music out onto YouTube, Apple Music, or any of the others. My music will never be about making money or generating likes. The real deal has to do with my heart’s message. Do I like my song, or am I moved by it? If I am, then I have achieved all that can be achieved. That is the music creator journey that I am on now.

Finally, I am letting everyone know that my music site is now live. You can find it by typing in chadsmusic dot art. You’ll notice I have a donation account through Donor Box. Just like Marina. If you are moved to give to me, I thank you; it will help me out more than you can imagine, since times are so hard for me financially now. I know I am not alone in this. For many others around the earth, it is more than financial hard times. I know that. I am very thankful I was born in war-zone-free Canada. I am very thankful for this, indeed.
